I'm currently creating my procedures for a science fair project. I'm confused on what metric unit I should use to measure the amount of water plants need. would someone please give me 4 different amounts of water that I can use for my procedure? I will use it to find out how different amounts of water affect plant growth. and one more thing, what type of water contains the most nutrients plants need? thank you.

  1. Tap water will have a bit more in it by way of minerals and such, distilled water is nothing but H2O.  Well water would possibly also have other minerals that could be beneficial for plants but I don't think any have as big as impact as what is in the soil, or even fertilizer.

    Water amounts...

    0 CC's

    10 CC's

    50 CC's

    100 CC's

You can find this with a common syringe found at pharmacies, its metric I think...
