Help setting up game console to tv?

Question

I have a new tv but i don't know how to get it to work. I checked all the cords and everything but i cant get it to work. It just stays at the normal tv screen.

try where u hooked it up to. if u hooked it up to video-1, go to video 1 and see if it comes up. try all the sources/imputs on the tv.

after connecting the cables ...hit the source button on your tv/remote ...

if it doesnt work thn u are not connecting the component cables properly ...

Have you used the  AV/TV button on the remote, or my tv is a bit weird its got three different ports for dvds etc and one of them i have never worked out what its for but the playstation doesnt work in this port so move the plugs to different port.
