Help shipping dirt bike?

i bought a 89 honda CR250 in San Diego California while visiting. now i need to get it home to Hillsboro Oregon. i have never shipped a dirt bike and i dont really know how to go about it.

can you tell me what companies to contact?

do i need to build the crate? im a framer, so building a strong crate is no problem.

can i leave the bike whole? or will i need to take it apart? the handle bars on or off?

just looking for answers from people who have done this before so i can go the best route. im thinking to use FED EX or UPS or something. thanks for all the help.

I personally would tell the people you bought it from that you will pick it up (even though its a long drive) But if you cant drive or is in a rush if they give it to ups they will put it in a box and ship it. I ordered one i paid the people i bought it from for shipping but i recommend driving if you can!
