If you were meeting your new lover/wife in a dirty Caribbean city, and from there you would take a small plane to a plush vacation home, what would you do if one of you arrived late and missed the last plane out that evening. Would you take the last flight to your plush room, while your lover (who you haven't seen for 45 days) spends the night in a slimy, dirty hotel room, to wait and take the earliest flight to meet you at your vacation destination. OR would you not take the last flight and not leave your lover to spend the night in a hotel room alone.

  1. This is not about ethics.  It's about manners.  You would not abandon anyone, regardless of relationship, halfway to your destination.  You wouldn't even call the person and ask for permission to go on.  You would just wait.  If I were the person who was left behind by you, I would spend the night in a slimy, dirty hotel room and then fly back home on the next flight.  Then I'd tell all our friends back home what a jerk you were.

  2. Angela, I would have to say....I would take the last flight and not leave my lover to spend the night in a hotel room alone.
