  1. Alyssa,

we are sailing in the same boat.

  2. Probably someone from UK and they think we are all in love with the royal family.  They don't realize we were raised by parents who told us they escaped Europe to get away from the monarchs and opression and the cruel way they were treated in Europe.

  3. If you kept the notice e-mail, there should be a link at the bottom to appeal. So long as you expressed your opinion in a polite way (ie you didn't use foul language etc.) you are right, it is not fair. Anyone who posts a question must be able to handle both positive and negative responses. By violating simply because they don't like your answer, is an abuse in itself and therefore a violation of the community guidelines. Unfortunately, there are people like that out there. File your appeal and keep at Yahoo until you get a response. Good luck.

  4. I agree this king and queen thing is way over done.  But you can get violated over anything.  I got it for simply stateing I didn't agree with this guy on some political issue.  Some people are so into politics that if you disagree or say they are Republican and the ones who answer are Democrats they violate everyone of them.  I guess it is better than in some countries where they kill you for voiceing your opinion,.

If that helps them to cope and no one has to die seems like a better choice.  I was hoping that Muslims violateing westerners would fill a need.

  5. I don't really care for her either. Someday they are going to find something out about her that is not that great. but it isn't fair what that person did to you. I thought everyone was entitled to their own opinion.

  6. The whole purpose of asking a question is to get responses, whether you agree with them or not.

I  feel just like you. Now the punishment you recevied was uncalled for. I could see if you had insulted someone with some hate remarks of wished harm on someone then a slight punishment would be called for. But all you did was post your honest feelings, what the heck is wrong with what you said?

  7. Push the reply button that Yahoo has sent you about the violation. Than state your point of view. It worked for me a few times in a row.

  8. Sorry but we are just tired of the anti-monarchists on this site. Why do you not like Diana?

  9. and no disrespect but she's dead...

  10. Join the club. Seems we are not allowed any dissenting opinions on that subject

  11. You're right, it is not fair and you can protest all you want about a violation.  But, it absolutely won't do you any good.  I've protested several answer violations I have received that were as innocent as yours and nothing ever came of it.  You will get a computer generated letter from Yahoo! Answers computer that they are looking into it but you'll never hear from them again.

Life goes on.  Take the hit.  Save your breath.  Don't waste your time.  Ignore it.

  12. How on earth can disliking the deceased princess Diana of Wales be considered in any way, shape or form to be proof of not liking the Monarchy?(this is for Hurly Gurly!)

I, for one, always intensely disliked her and thought that she pursued her own private agenda rather than that of the monarchy which she had so obviously sworn to uphold when she married the heir to the throne.

As well as disliking her, I always felt intensely sorry for her because she was so clearly a silly, uneducated girl, totally unprepared- intellectually or morally- to assume her royal responsibilities. She was  obsessed with her role as Lady Bountiful bestowing her graces and favours among the wretched. She quite fancied herself in that part ,as if the Monarchy were still anchored in the Middle Ages.

As a mother of two sons, one the future heir to the throne, she should never have talked about her adulterous affairs on television,no matter what  the provocation. For a private woman it would have been inconsiderate to her children and in questionable taste. For a Royal Princess(which she loved being) and future Queen mother it was

    outrageously ,if not treasonously,inappropriate!

She was a silly, supersticious, narcissistic woman who excercised poor judgement in her choice of men. She certainly did not deserve to die for that and her untimely demise was very sad, as is the death of any young person!

However,it does not place her beyond criticism.
