Help sometype of bug or cricket!

Question

Omg! I am so scared of bugs. There is one in my house! Its in the kitchen. It was big *** shittttt. It hopped. And I threw a shoe at it but I missed!!!!!!!! Help I am scared to go to sleep. Do crickets bite! The lil **** won't make noise so I don't know where its at!

How do I find it?

Most homes and even apartments have lots of bugs without owners even realizing it. Most insects will come out at night. As you gave no description other than 'it hops', there's really no way of knowing what it is. Crickets and Grasshoppers do not bite humans. They're harmless.
