1. right click on the my computer icon and click on properties and then click on advanced and then on settings and then select the default operating system u want. All 3 will be there so choose the right one and then uncheck the two boxes below it and u will not get the other two operating systems.

Restart of computer can have many reasons and its some loose contact specially of power sextion and of the power cable. Get good quality power cables for ur computer and monitor and this usually solves the problem.

The bios settings need to be sorted and fixed and this should be done by experienced technical guy else u can see the number and name of the motherboard for which u will have to open the case of computer and u should search for bios settings for this motherboard. Loading optimized settings dosnt help and there could be system hardware compatibility problem and this can be due to imcompatible RAM also or RAM istalled in wrong slot or even the bios battery need to be changed if every time the date is reset. It is coin shaped battery visible in matherboard and costs less than Rs 10 only and the bios settings need this battery so that it dosnt make the settings wrong at every booting

  2. Comfortable method to change the "timeout"

When the dual boot option works, you are provided with a timeout in order to select the desired OS. By default, this timeout is 30 sec. If no OS is selected, after 30 seconds, the primary Windows will boot. In case you consider the timeout too high, you can lower it.

Go to Start > Run and type msconfig. Once the system configuration window pops up, you will notice that Boot.ini has its own tab. Select that tab and where you see "timeout," set it to a lower or higher value.

Remove/Add Operating Systems in the dual boot menu:

This is the main issue. How to remove a dual boot option from the menu? Right click on My Computer icon and select Properties. From the properties window go to Advanced > Startup and Recovery > Settings. Here, you can both edit the timeout value and modify the Boot.ini file by clicking Edit. If you remove the second operating system from Boot.ini, the dual boot option won't appear before booting.

Don't forget to backup the file in any situation. It will keep you out of trouble!

    Good luck!
