Question

how can i make a tent type thing that can keep rain off a stage so all our equipment (amps, P.A, monitors ect) will stay dry. we are playing an outdoor event with no cover just a stage PLEASE HELP. our gear is worth about £5000. hiring a marquee is out of the question.

Just buy a gazebo they come in various sizes.

Get a large pole (2 meters or more) and a large plastic tarp. Stand pole in center of your stage, and open tarp on top of it. Tie the corners with rope, attached to wooden pegs hammered into the ground.
