Help!! super glue disaster!!?

I glued my mother's face brush case and now I can't even open it!!! please help me! I read that i can remove the instant glue with acetone, but the problem is that I can't open the case the put the acetone!! I really don't know what to do!!

Take a single edged razor blade, preferably one with a handle and work it carefully in the joint. Maybe you can cut the bond or get enough space to try acetone.

See if in the tube of the glue  has the telephone number of service to the customer and ask them which the solvent for glue, if doesn't have the number of the telephone you researches in the google the site of the manufacturing company of the product and ask them which solvent you can use.

Yes, acetone will dissolve the super glue.  Depending on whjat the case is made of, it may damage or destroy that, too.

What circumstances led to superglue getting on a makeup case?  Wereyou trying to fix it and glue got where you didn't want?

put it around the case may dissolve it so you can open it

Assuming you EXTREMELY CAREFULL. keep all parts of yourself away fron the sharp edge;  You can use a flat edge exacto knife to run between the lid and base.  i did the same thing with a small jewlery box last year.  if possable put it in a vice to avoid any slip and cutting your self.  good luck.

its garbage now  acetane will ruin the case..tell mom  there was a accident she wont be happy but at least you are honest and responsible..offer to pay for the replacement/work it off.
