  1. I'm no doctor, but it's probably stuck in your throat. Or if it was broken or had a sharp edge, it could've scraped your throat as you swallowed it. I would suggest going to a doctor, just to make sure everything is okay, and just to be safe.

Hope you feel better soon, and hope this helps.

  2. Try drinking some coke, I work in an Emergency Department as a Nurse and sometimes when patients present with food stuck in the esophagus drinking some coke can sometimes help dislodge it.  Sounds strange I know, but give it a try.  Hope it helps.

  3. Is it still lodged in your throat? You may have scratched your throat while swollowing it which has made it sore. If it is still lodged in there it should have come unstuck by now from eating and drinking. But if you still have pain then go see your Dr. Good luck.  :)

  4. As long as you are breathing you will be ok- Keep drinking liquids to wash it down. Something warm to melt the candy a little. ( Tea, coffee, Hot Coco.)

  5. Sip a cup of tea or hot water. The candy will eventually dissolve if it's still stuck. It may have scratched on the way down. You say you can't swallow pills, but can I suggest that it's simply that you 'haven't yet learned' how to swallow pills. If you can swallow food then you will eventually be able to swallow pills. Even cats and dogs can do it.
