  1. Honesty first...Did you break it out of anger, or out of effort? Or, is it just defective? Either way, let mum know. Nothing lasts forever, and raquets can be replaced. Go ahead, you'll feel better.

  2. there's not much you can do besides get a new one, or let your mom find out.

  3. get a new one or go to  a store and fix it

  4. I don't think she will kill you. I think she will just be angry.

Can't you borrow a racquet to get you through tomorrow.

  5. My guess is you can't afford to replace it on your own and any warranty info would have to be obtained by your mum?

If that is case I would suggest you tackle the problem head on, tell your mum and get it over with. The longer you wait the harder it will become.

Also, if your instructor asks explain that you are afraid to tell your mum. Maybe he could make it easier on you and do it for you.

It's always best to be open and honest. Good Luck

  6. Unless you're playing fairly competitive tennis, a minor crack doesn't really make a racquet "useless". You might still get some games out of it. How did you break the racquet, anyway? If it broke of its own accord and it hasn't been that long since it was purchased, you might be able to get a replacement from Yonex or the retailer you got it from.
