Help! tile grouting has set in tub! can i make it soft again?

my ready mixed tile adhesive and grout has gone hard in tub, if i use some hot water to mix it up with,will it be okay to use for the grouting?

Nope, think about it, your using it on tiles, and you expect the tiles to be waterproof, so why would grout be able to be mixed with water to make it soft again?

No - wouldn't be much use if it kept reverting to paste everytime it got wet, would it. The chemical composition has changed and it is never going to be what it was.
