Help to Clear my P.C.of 3 yrs of c**p

Hi my P.C. is very slow ect i have been told it needs a proper spring clean and get rid of 3 years of cr...p but i cant afford to pay £45 at the moment could anyone explain how i could do it on my own if possible thank you

    Try the free trial of that, that will find all the c**p , i use it all the time  

  3. Download CCleaner fo a start. It's a free registry cleaner than will get rid of lots of browsing and registry junk.

    Second, try Advanced Windows Cleaner. It can also tidy up a lot of ruubbish hanging around your PC.

    Lastly, do a defrag. Use Iobit's defrag or Piriform Defraggler.

    All these are free software.

    edit - TD? I've never had a computer virus in my life and never have a slow computer, whether windows. Mac or Linux. Take the advice or leave it.

  5. you can reformat the hard drive then install the os. you will have to save all you files and programs on a USB hard drive or dvd. But it will clear your pc. it will be running as fast as you first got it.

  6. 1. Defragment your harddrive......this is under control panel

    2. Download http://www.ccleaner.com/download : ) and scan!

    4. Delete old useless files

    5. Use CCleaner and delete some unessesary start up programs

    6. Uninstall old games etc

  7. The first thing you shoud do is go into the add/remove programs in your control panel. just browse through the list and un-install all software you no longer need. Then simply go through your My Documents folder and manually delete files u don't want. Once you have donr this, go into My Computer right click your hard drive, click properties, click the tools tab and select the defragmentation option, once youve done this your computer should run more smoothly
