Well, I am very regretful. I need help to carry myself through. Please do not judge. I have been a Vegan for almost 3 weeks and today I was extremely hungry so I saw these macaronis but they contained animal product (mayonaisse) and then after that I saw a big piece of cow meat and I was actually about to eat it. I then went to my room and statred crying that I even ate any animal product. But my mom told me it was okay. She said that if I have the urge to eat meat I should but I told her that I saw the videos of what humans in the meat industry do to animals. So now I am so torn and hurt that it even went into my mouth. What should I do...T-T

  1. Be like me, just a vegetarian not a vegan!!!  There is nothing wrong with eating cheese and other animal bi-product of this nature.  A Cow doesn't die to give you milk!  8 )

  2. You sound like a compassionate person, as you are concerned about eating animal products. You also sound quite young- you are still living with your mom. Hunger is an extremely powerful primal force, so it is normal to eat any food that is available when you are very hungry.

Realize you are just starting being vegan and you need a period of adjustment. Make sure you are getting all the nutrition you need from your diet, including vitamin B12. Research vegan recipes and keep vegan food available in the house. Join an online vegan support group. Don't be so hard on yourself- you are still adjusting and learning.

  3. Watch Earthlings so you can cry some more.

Don't worry, crying is good for you.

  4. Just remember the horrors of factory farms and how animal products are full of c**p. Ignore your mom. She has no clue.

Keep strong and you will get used to eating vegan. It may seem hard at first but it will get easier. Other people are in your situation since animal products are addictive like crack.

    Hang in there.

  5. You should wait until you're at least in  your early 20's and THEN go vegan.  You go vegan AFTER you go plain vegetarian.  Poor nutrition is nothing to mess with when it comes to a developing body.  You want your body to properly develop before you go vegan or even vegetarian.  s***w it up for your body and you're in for a lifetime of health problems.

You're extremely hungry because you're not properly supplementing your nutrition intake.  Protein, meat is what you need.  Meat industry has been doing all sorts of things to animals since the dawn of time.  Except now we have video cameras, more people and bigger volume of meat being processed for people to consume so everyone can stay fed and not starve to death.

Wake up, and smell the nutritious smell of a charred piece of cow meat!

You're too young to go vegan.

  6. you need not only meeat but also therapy if you go to your room and cry about eating mayonaise your crazy and the person at the bototm has issues your comparing 98.4 % ( as of 2006) to crachead and even more non vegans
