  1. You need to be more specific.  A DC Voltage Sensor is just a voltmeter.  Or if you are looking for a specific voltage, then a comparator would be used.


  2. You need an A/D converter. Many small microprocessors have them built in. Or, use a digital multimeter. Or, get one in a datalogger to attach to your computer: http://www.dataq.com/products/startkit/d...

    Use this to read the DC voltage. If the voltage is too high, you can use a pair of (usually large) resistors in series between power and ground to split the voltage to any desired level. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voltage_div...

    For example, if you have a 12V circuit, and your A/D is only good for 5V, put a 700k and 500k resistor in series to get 5V max at the connection point of the two resistors.
