Question:

Help to indentify vintage fishing rod, solid hard wood?

I have a 3 piece solid wood fishing, not the best condition!

Its made out of solid wood, and very heavy. at the end of the pieces there is a solid wood carved bung that fits into them.

Also on the handle, on the metal part it says PT Dale, stafford (i think)

and a logo of a small fish with what looks like to arrows going though it (similar to a skull and cross bones, only with a fish and arrows)

Any help with identification or valuation will be much appreciated.

Many thanks

  1. Check ebay for what similar rods have gone for, this will give you some kind of idea.

  2. It's scrap wood I left in your garage.Sorry about that.

  3. You might want to check with antique dealers who specialize in fishing gear. I'll add a few to look into but other than that, you got me.
