Help unclogging toilet

My toilet is flushing slowly. I think it may be clogged. Plunging isn't working...any suggestions? TMI?

  1. I would try putting vinegar down the toilet. Let it sit. The acidity should break the waste down (and it'll help clean the toilet bowl too).


  2. If you are on a septic tank you may want to get rid away.  If you are just on a regular sewage line you may want to put a little Clorox in the toilet.  If the problem still persists ask your neighbors if they are experiencing the same thing.  If that is the case you can call the city to have them check it out.

  3. well if its been doing that for a while or its an old toilet, then i would just leave it. or if it bothers you alot then call a plumber.

    if its a new toilet, get that blue stuff they show on tv im really really sorry but i forget the name right now.  just keep an eye out for it.  youll know the commercial when you see it.  they talk about how the gunk hides in spots that arent visible and how their product goes through the s bend or whatever.
