Help!. up-tempo song needed for a musical audition!!?

i need to sing a song for a muscial audition but im not that great of a singer but i can sing okay..i still want to audtion though??. ANy suggestions..

  1. It depends on what you're auditioning for - you need to pick a song which is similar in style to the show you're auditioning for.  I you can find one, a song by the same composer from a different show is your best bet.  Above all, don't sing anything from Wicked, Hairspray, Avenue Q, Legally Blonde, Phantom of the Opera or RENT as they're all very very overdone.


  2. www.musicaltheatreaudition.com has tons of suggestions for different ages, ranges, etc. They even have show titles and synopsis and ranges for different part in that show. Good luck, or break a leg!
