Someone on a website has been sending me private messages again and again (bad words) and I responded to him with bad words of course, and then he threatened me to go to court and sue me based on online harrassement, the deal is I think I didn't save him messages but I think he ddid, does he have a legal case?

  1. There is no such thing as "online" harassment. You should ignore them.

  2. Unless you sent an ungodly amount of ugly emails to him he can't do squat.  And what is the worse that could happen?  Being banned from a certain internet community?  I think he is just trying to scare you.

Block and delete him and find someone nice to chat with.

  3. People can sue for pretty much anything. He probably started arguing with you first cause he wanted to upset you, and get you to fight back, then make it look like it was all your fault, and that he's the innocent one. If I were you, I wouldn't worry. On your side of this case, if you can't prove that harrassed you first, well he can't prove that you were the one at your computer. For instance someone else could be using your account. Even when people can track what computer the message is being sent you have no evidence of who was at the computer. So don't let the prick mess up your day. [=
