So my question now is I just tested again with OPK and now the 2nd line is very close to the colour of the 1st line (WHOOHOO) lol never expected to see it since I thought they didn't work fo rme. anyways my question is, if it is close to the colour of the 1st line now at 11:45pm, when do I test again? If first morning urine is not recommended should I wait until lunch time? would I not miss the getting a positive result waiting that long, since the line seems to be getting darker just since tonight? I've never gotten a positive before no matter what time of day I test, so would it be ok to test in the morning or not?

  1. my suggestion is to not wait to do the next test to, go ahead and do the BD with your hubby!!!!! you dont want to miss it, at all... so go ahead and do the BD and do it tomorrow and the next day, and the next, but make sure there are at least 24 hours in between the times your BD, so that your hubby can "replenish"!!!

GOOD LUCK AND LOTS OF BABY DUST!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Well, you CAN test with first morning urine, though it's not recommended because LH is a synthesized hormone produced by your body throughout the day.  You could test with fmu then again the next time you pee, just remember to try and hold it for 3 hours before going and don't drink too many liquids.  Last month I could literally see my LH surging (I had a bucketful of cheapie internet tests) I was testing everytime I went to the bathroom....lol I know.... obsess much?!? But by the time I went to bed I knew I was going to hit my LH peak the next day and by my 9:30 pee (I wake between 5-6am so 9:30 is not my fmu) I had my positive.  By 4:00pm that same day it was gone.  So you could test twice so if it's getting more faint, you'll know you hit your LH peak already, even if you missed getting an actual positive.  I really hope I haven't confused you!!  AND -- don't forget you usually ovulate 12-36 hours after getting a positive so if your not able to BD tonight do it first thing in the morning and again tomorrow night and you should be set!!   Best of luck and sticky baby dust!

  3. BD right now!!!! It is good to have the sperm waiting for the egg to drop. Test again tomorrow afternoon (around 12 or 1) do the BD again tomorrow and than again the day after.

    Good Luck!!

  4. My guess is you will get a darker line tomorrow.  If you do, you usually ovulate 24-36 hours after the darkest line.

I would test again about midday, then again tomorrow night, then the same the following day.

You need to baby dance now to optimise your chances of pregnancy. Baby dancing prior to ovulation day is essential - that way the sperm is waiting for the egg to be released.

I got my BFP 3 days ago. I always use OPK's, they are truly accurate.  By the way, I didn't baby dance on my ovulation day, only prior to.

    Goodluck!
