Help using ITERS?

I'm working on ITERS for my classroom but I'm not sure how to fill in the blanks.

A. subscale (items 1-5) _ _

B.Number of items scored _ _

SPACE AND FURNISHINGS Average Score (A/B)_ ._ _

Let me set up an example for you.  I think it will be easier.  Let's say these were your scores:

1.  Indoor space - 4

2.  Furniture for routine care and play - 5

3.  Provision for relaxation & comfort - 3

4.  Room arrangement - 6

5.  Display for children - 1

Altogether, these items add up to 19.  A.  Subscale (Items 1-5) score is 19.

B.  Number of items scored is 5, because you rated yourself in all 5 of those areas.

So, SPACE AND FURNISHINGS Average Score (A divided by B) is 3.8.  Your score for the space and furnishings subscale is 3.8
