Help w/ curling hair?

my hair is long

not too long but yea

i like to curl my hair sometimes but the curls fall in like an hour

i've tried hair spraying it a lot

but it never holds

any ideas how to keep it for at least 6 hours

i would appreciate the help

I saw a runway show and the guy doing the models hair used herbal essences totally twisted mousse. He used a little bit in each part that he curled.

So after seeing this I ran to get that mousse. Now I know why he used it on the models. It actually holds curls! You don't even need hair spray. It smells killer and it doesn't flake.

The icing on the cake: it's cheap!
