  1. Post additional information about what is wrong with your underhand serve and I will help you.

The most common problem is lack of power and the ball goes in the net.

The way to help this is to use your body and legs as well as the arm to give your serve the power.

Assume you are right handed, start with your left foot pointing at the net with the heel off the floor and your toes pointing up and your right foot is a good pace behind. All your weight is on your right foot.

As you serve, transfer your body weight forward onto your left foot  which goes first flat and then onto tip toe raising your body in the air slightly as you contact the ball with the heel of your hand. Your right leg ends up lifting the heel off the floor and streteched out behind you. the right foot points vertically down and just rests on the toes to balance you.

This will mean the body has moved a long way forward and up slightly. The body muscles and leg muscles are big compared to the arms and this extra momentum will help your arm out if you lack distance. Not only will you be able to serve over the net, but also to the back of their court to pick out a weak passer.

  2. try overhand serving right away it's a totally different techniq of serving and u might be better at it than underhanding it

  3. strech ur arm that is holding the ball all the way out and swing with the other really hard and you may wanna lean into it... dont bunch up ur arm

  4. it's about hand and eye coordination.  you have to let the ball go a little before your hand swings forward.  you should face your target, step with the opposite foot, contact with the heel of your hand, adn follow through with enough strenth towards the net so that your ball clears. hope this helps

  5. Step into the ball and don't swing tour arm all the way through

  6. hehe i have this really crazy underhand serve which is better than other peopls overhand

some tips would be to make sure u aim right and u dont want it to be flying off the court

i wouldnt u a fist because its just not cool

hit with your wrist and make sure its at a right angle so it doesnt go too low
