  1. Pack depending on destination stops. Swim suit, and generally summer wear. If its a cruise ship like most cruise ships, expect too many things to do. Have Fun! I personally always bring a pack of cards. Bored people generally like to play a fun game of 13.

  2. Well first of all your spilling is awfull.. :-) But to answer the question relax a bit and explore the ship when you get onboard. As for packing it depends heavily on where youre going so pack aprociate cloths and dont forget nice walking shoes since youre gonna walk alot both abord the ship and at the ports. If youre going to warm places then pack bathing and swiming suits. Elsewhere pack things that you would have on a descent reasturant in down town. It isnt worser than that on most major cruise lines. Relax and enjoy your cruise. Its what you make of it. Oh and bring a credit card and some cash with you. It helps. And dont forget your passport. Johan.

  3. Im also going on a cruise for my first time, but what I have heard is that you should pack a nice dress (black tie) for the first night for a dinner with the captain and you should also bring bathing suits and beach clothes for on shore and hanging out on the ship. On the ship there are pools and it is basically a little town. There is free 24 hour pizza and ice cream in case you were wondering. Also there a a ton of fun on shore activities!

    I hope youi  have fun!

  4. I would pack formal type clothing for at least a couple of nights. I was in the Carnival Pride (Mexican Riviera) ship for spring break and I brought plenty of clothes for the beach (like shorts) and sun and off the ship, but they have pretty casual/formal dinners every night on the ship. There is at least one night where it is completely formal though. Guys are in ties, ladies are in dresses. I would suggest taking naseua pills (just in case), and everything else you need to get ready (toothbrush, gel...) That is pretty much it since I don't know where your ship is going. (Hawaii maybe?)

  5. OMG, the carnival spirit thing??? you go gurl. wut i would do is quit being so dramatic...and learn to spell.

  6. The dress on ship is casual all day until 6:00PM, so take:

    -swim wear (at least 2),

    -shorts, tank tops and "T's"

    -sandals,

    -beach shoes,

-your snorkel equipment if you have it,

    -sun glasses and sun screen,

    -lotions,

-a cap or big hat for the sun,

-a book if you are a reader,

    -your music player,

-sneakers and clothes to workout in if you like to use the gym,

    -good walking shoes,

    -your camera, and

-other personal toiletries including tooth paste, mouth wash or lotions.

Your cabin will have towels and soap provided, including pool and beach towels, and a hair dryer. It will also have a generic hair shampoo so you do not need to bring that unless you like a specific brand.

After 6:00 PM they request that you wear "sports or resort casual" attire. That's attire that you would expect a person to wear in a business office, (like a bank employee), shirt with a collar, slacks, skirt, blouse, etc. You can still wear shorts and swim wear in the pools and spas but not in public areas like dining rooms and restaurants, show rooms, bars, casino, etc. Don't over pack , take clothes that you can mix and match tops and bottoms and plan to wear each piece twice. If you are going to the Caribbean you will likely be in shorts and/or swim wear most of every day so evening clothes don't usually get much wear.

Your cruise will have a formal night or two when you can wear your best stuff. The formal nights are REQUESTED not required attire. You will not be denied entry to the main dining room if you decide not to dress up, as long as you are at least sports casual. But most people do dress up. A gown or party dress for women and a suit or tux for men. Some people dress up both formal nights, some don't.

Your cruise ship will have pools, hot tubs, a gym and disco.  So take clothes to do all of that.
