  1. maybe she's scandinavian.

  2. shes definitely from a latin country-- spanish or shes french-- TRUST ME I  KNOW I TALK SPAN FRENCH N ENGLI

  3. She may be from America but from a lower part of the country.

Also, she may be hugging the bottle too much before class.

You may want to ask her if she has a drinking problem.

Since many teachers are stressed out with their students, alcohol is something that they turn to in hope of a normal life.

  4. jersey or coloraden or canadian

  5. Aussie? They look white. And the show H20, well if you know it, there's Australian people in it and they pronounce words like that so I'm pretty sure, go to youtube.com and type in H20 just add water and listen to the people talk

  6. Sounds latin to me.  IDK.

  7. It sounds a little old french, but hard to tell without actually hearing the accent.

  8. i don't think it's rude to ask nicely : you have a nice accent, where you from? it's very hard to answer without hearing her talk, try to ask don't be shay.

  9. Latin?

    Just a guess.

  10. Umm, French Canadian? My grandmother is from Nova Scotia and she talks slightly like that, not as accentuated on the eesh, it's more like esh. But yeah. =]

  11. could be one of many.

But asking is only rude, if the reasons behind it are. Fact is most are quite proud to name their heiredity, and glad it still shows, their very willing to talk about their homeland.

Ask her, a teacher in particular, won't mind the interest or questions, shows an inquisitive mind.

One on the first things i was taught in school was "if you don't ask, you will never learn".

Go ahead, she won't be insulted.

  12. polish, french, european

  17. spanish or french

  18. Nothing wrong to ask your teacher where she comes from, isn`t it?

  19. french?

it's much too hard to tell by one word though.  You can make sure she is french if she does not pronounce the "H" at the beginning of words (like hockey she was pronounce "ockey")

and sometimes will not pronounce the ending letters on words. (for example something like "food-court" will be pronounced "food-core")

  20. Get real ... from your description of your interpretation of how she says one single, specific word, the accent could come from about 1000 different places (as is evidenced by the variety of answers you have received so far) ... gonna need a little more information than that, if anyone is really going to be able to help you.
