Help!!!!! why did my xbox360 do this?

so my boyfriend was watching a movie he had downloaded on his xbox360. there was a thunderstorm going on and the power went out. when the power came back on "the ring of death" was on the xbox blinking and then the light turned green again. so we turned off the system and when we turned it back on there was a white static line at the bottom of the screen. we turned off the system to see if it effected the samsung lcd and it didn't ...the line was only there when we had the system on. we ignored it and played a bit then went out when we came back home to use to system there was blur on the xbox360 screen and the static had spread across the game. it's off now. the red ring is no longer there. why did this happen? does anyone have any suggestios????????? thankssssssss.

my "i" on the keyboard doesnt work well

ok becuz, n my opnion, when the power went off and went rte bak on again powered up the system wthout t being ready so i knda jacked t up a bit  guess u should sent it in to xbox customer support

to do the letters just type the number the letter  is on like for y it would be lke 9 or something
