Help why wont my boat radio wont play any sound through any speakers?

So my boat Radio wont play any music or radio... The speakers it is hooked up to is good, the power is flowing to the head unit no fuses are blown...

The volume goes from -42 to 00 on the volume button...

how can I trouble shoot this radio it is an older ken wood casset playing radio..

any one have any ideas...

Only thing comes to mind is its water damaged. If its a marine radio its still susceptible to water damage. Water resistant is not water proof. orry to be the bearer of badnews but ive seen it thousands of times. If you want to be sure remove top plate look inside, if u see green scum looking stuff or rust then its time to replace it.

make sure the connections to the speakers are correct. you might have blown outputs on the radio which wont give you any sound
