hi, i have an 8 month old colt. he has had very little handling (iv only jus rescued him from doggers/knackery) , extremly skinny and with a belly full of worms. i wormed him immediately and gave him a tet/strengles shot and gave him a really good massage while he got busy eating. He had such a quiet sweet nature in the first few days untill he started to feel better with some decent food and began to pass those worms. he even seemed to start bonding with me, following me around the paddock wit my other gelding and constantly standing at the gate staring at our house until i come out. i had to leave the property for about 4 days and nights now so i havntbeen there. my husbandand & next door neigbour have both been looking after him and my other gelding while iv been away. now they have both warned me that he has stated kickingand biting and refuses to b caught. how should i curb/reprimand him 4 this before i gets out of hand?

  1. have you been to see him yet? he may just miss you, and is afraid you will leave him. rescues have very hard trouble with trust. i would go see him. really all you can do is scold him.
