Help with 16th birthday?

hi guys,

well im having a very small 16th bday get-together b/c i reallly dont want anything big

im inviting my 4 close friends, we're having a bbq and i'm serving korean kalbi (ribs). what else can i do for food other than drinks or snacks. afterwards we're gonna rent and watch a movie, can you guys recommend a good movie? may be comedy? i need to rent the movie before hand so im gonna rent a couple and let them choose

i was also wondering on what else can i do to make it for fun and enjoyable and i dont own any games b/c i dont like video games lol

any ideas are appreciated, and thanks :)

I hope this doesn't disgust you, but barbeque, even Asian, needs coleslaw.  Cabbage is a huge part of Korean cuisine, so coleslaw would work.

Stardust, if you haven't seen it is interesting.  27 Dresses is a good girly movie, and I can't imagine what 16 year old girl (if you are a girl) wouldn't love James Marsden.  The Holiday is the one of the best romance comedies ever, although, since you are a new generation, you might not be familiar with some other very famous comedies from once upon a time.  Look up Billy Crystal.  He is brilliant in Forget Paris.  Also funny, Deliver Us from Eva with LL Cool J.  

Sometimes stupid kid games are fun even when you are grown up.  Pin the tail or nose or whatever on some stupid picture is almost always hysterical.  And I love a ring toss or cornhole.  Good luck and happy sweet sixteen!

Why don't you do a chocolate fondue fountain?  You could also serve virgin Pina Coladas.  As for the movie... maybe "I now pronounce you chuck and larry," "License to wed," or if you wanna kinda scary movie maybe "one missed call"

Old School is a really funny movie...

make some non-alcohol beverages and have a variety of chips, salsa's and cheese on-hand.
