Help with 1988 Mercedes 300E?

I have a 1988 Mercedes 300E and I am in dire need of a mechanic to tune up and provide a quick fix to get my car through emissions in Colorado.

Does anyone out there know a good, affordable (I'm on a very tight budget) mechanic who could work on my car?

I also need to replace the battery and have found it to be quite a bit more expensive than a regular one - I could use a little insider help on where to find the cheapest batteries and alternators for this kind of car.

FYI, I am located in Arvada Colorado.
