  1. Heavy cream is also known as whipping cream. Look for it near the milk. It is not sour cream, it is a liquid (although it is very thick).

Your grocery store should sell acorn squash in its produce section. But go to the fresh market anyway- support local!

  2. Heavy cream is located in the dairy section of your supermarket. It is NOT sour cream. Heavy cream comes in a carton. It can also be labeled as heavy whipping cream.

Acorn squash is usually sold in grocery stores. If you can't find it, ask someone to help you locate it. If you can't find in any store in your area, a farmer's market (if you have them) or a fresh market would be the next best thing.

Good luck with the recipe. Tyler Florence is one of the best Food Network chefs. I use his cheesecake recipe all the time. Happy cooking!

  3. most grocery stores will carry acorn squash but It's seasonal so you may only find it while it's in season and off season if you find it they may not be the highest quality.

Heavy cream is also known as whipping cream. It's in the dairy refrigerated section with milk and half and half
