Okay, this subject is starting to drive me crazy!!!

I have to turn my notes in soon and 5 Questions are missing!! Seriously 20 pages of stupid notes and I can't find this in my book! It's not like I don't have any other homework... Help please!!!

1.) Describe 2 homeostatic mechanisms.

2.) Describe the anatomical position.

3.) Using the appropriate terms, describe the relative positions of several body parts.

4.) Name the 9 regions of the abdomen.

Please please please, can anymone help me here?? Thanks loads to everyone who just reads this!

  1. 2. Anatomical position is where the body is supine and the hands are facing outwards.


  2. Two homeostatic mechanisms are: negative feedback control mechanism and positive feedback control mechanism.

    The anatomical position is where the body is erect with the arms at sides and palms are forward.

    The heart is SUPERIOR to the abdomen, the ovaries are LATERAL to the uterus. The toes are INFERIOR to the knees. The sternum is MEDIAL to the shoulders.......

    The nine regions of the abdomen are: right hypochondriac, epigastric, left hypochondriac, right lumbar region, umbilical region, left lumbar region, right iliac region, hypogastric region, left iliac region.
