Help with Breeding Guppies please!?

I've recently decieded to breed guppies, I have some knoelegde but not much. So I would like someone to answer these questions for me. Thanks!

1. Does a female guppy have her gravid stop when she is pregnant or when she can become pregnant?

2. Other than a female being fat how can I tell if my guppy is pregnant?

3. Is there any other important info I should know?

2. a little black spot near where they p**p or give birth. it is pregnant.
3. what you need is many hiding spot for the small ones. fake leaves are growing algae so that the small ones will eat them as a substitute because they cant eat flakes yet. they're mouth are too small for flakes. but real aquatic plants are good. most young fish wont survive till adult because the young is possibly a snack for the mother or bigger fish.
