  1. Try www.shellyleppertdesigns.com. They can custom make them for you by the girls measurements and they do them at great prices.

  2. Have you asked them if they are willing to call other Davids Bridal stores and see if they have any in stock on the clearance rack?

I am in a wedding next month and the dresses came from David's Bridal, in a burnt orange color (actually called Cognac) that were being discontinued.  The wedding is in Alabama and I am in Texas, and I was able to still find the dress here on the clearance rack (very lucky!)

  3. Have you tried Alfred Angelo?

  4. First and foremost, don't panic. I would not hesitate to ask David's Bridal if it would be possible for them to call other David's Bridal shops in the US to see if maybe they might be able ship them to the local store where you live.

If that doesn't work, try to pick a dress that is similar in style to what you are looking for possibly in the burnt orange that you want or maybe a different Autumn color that you could use instead. I know that November is just around the corner, but there are some instances where you may have to reconsider your choice of dress style or color. I wouldn't say don't worry, but be willing to bend a little bit if it's necessary and there isn't another alternative.

    Good luck!

  5. can they order any more in??

what about trying to find a dress maker??

i would ask them if they can order any more in first!

if they couldnt then i would find a dress maker and then get them to make them!!

  7. November is right around the corner.

If you still want that color, you might want to have them custom made, though that may be expensive and since it's close in time, may cost additional money.

I suggest you look in places like Macy's upstairs where they have evening and cocktail length dresses.

I think you should consider other color options. How about jewel tones like gold, emerald, sapphire, royal purple for an autumn/winter wedding? I have recently seen gorgeous satin/chiffon combinations at as much as 40% off the original price at Macy's. Dresses the gals can wear again! Sometimes having different shades of the same color within the same tonal family will work too. You can be creative, yet simplistic and really wow them on that special day.

  9. First you should have order them back in July. Find something close to it that you like. Try another company all together.

  10. It is late to be picking out dresses for a November wedding, which is probably why they cannot get any more.  They are going into the next season colors and burnt orange is strictly a fall wedding color.  I don't think a professional seamstress would be able to do a number of bridesmaids dresses in under 2 months....  if you have a family member who sews AND you can find the right color, it might be possible to make them.  Sorry, but you may have to change the color.  Perhaps go with a mocha and add accents of burnt orange or do chocolate brown with orange flowers.....

This website has a wide selection of dresses and they do have burnt orange chiffon color available... Another idea is to buy dresses in the color you like, and then have them shorted to tea length.

    Good luck!

  12. Have you considered having the dresses custom made?  (Maybe there is an Aunt in the family that knows how to sew that could give you a good deal?)
