Thanks for reading my question, and eventhough im looking for an answer, and fine if you just kind of steer me into the right direction :)

"Currently there is TV commercial about the ability of green plastic storage bags to lengthen the shelf life of fruits and vegetables that you might purchase to eat. The advertiser claims that the green bags are much more better for storage than the regular clear plastic bags. Explain the concept behind the\is inovation in storage."

I do not understand the question at all, cause even thought were in the "plants" chapter, we havnt talked about anything relating to this nature

The green bags absorb the natural gasses the fruit produces. If the fruit was in a regular plastic bag, they would over ripen, and spoil. Have you ever noticed, when you peel a Banana, how fast it turns brown? Once you pick a fruit, it starts to emit gasses that cause it to rot. The green bags absorb these gasses, slowing down the decay.
