Help with CPU Usage?

how can i keep my cpu usage low its keeps going really high anything i can do to fix this ive tryd sooo many cleaning programs and it still goes so far up i undust my pc so fans dont get stuck an full of dust anything mite be causing this?

You have some program that is eating up resources.  Many times this is indicative of a computer virus, but not necessarily.  Press <CTRL>+<ALT>+<DELETE> to bring up the Task Manager.  Then click on the "Processes" tab.  Next, click on the "CPU" heading above one of the columns, this will sort by CPU usage.  Scroll down to the bottom and see what program is using the most of your available CPU capacity.  If it is "System Idle Process", then the problem is something else.  If not, see if you recognize the program, or post it here so we can help you further.

make sure that you don't have any open programs that you are not using. Use your task manager/processes to see what is running.
