Help with Card Game Munchkin by Steve Jackson.?

I saw this game in the store the other day and wonder if anyone has played it. If so, how did you find it. I saw expansions as well, and thought I would get 1 so that I did not have to return to the store later. What would a better expansion be and how come? Thanks all for your help. Much appreciated.

Munchkin is an AWESOME game.  Makes for a good party game, or just something to play to waste some time with a couple of good friends.

The best thing about the Munchkin series is that EVERY expansion is good.  You can buy Star Munchkin or Munchkin Bites and mix them into the regular (D&D style) Munchkin.  Or you can just buy the expansions for regular Munchkin.  However you want to do it.  It's more hilarious good fun if you blend them all together into one giant cross-over universe game.
