Help with Cartwheels ?

Hey guys (:

I can already cartwheel but i need some tips.

Im doing an up coming dance concert and need to do 2 cartwheels across the stage, yes i know your thinking it aint that hard.

I have to run cartwheel run cartwheel i normally get the 2nd one perfect ad muck the first one up i thnk its cos i panic but im not 100% sure.

i also get sore wrists after doing them.

do you have any tips, stretches etc

  1. uhm, do yoga,

    try to get more flexible.

    losing weight would help too.

      


  2. center spilts and stretch out your hands

  3. wrap your wrists in tape go around your wrist twice around your hand twice and then back around your wrist.

    stretches...

    get on the floor on your knees and sit back on your heels. put you arms out palm facing up. put you palms straight down on the floor so that your fingers are toward you and go up on your knees so some of your weight is on your hands and rock back and forth to stretch your wrists. rotate and flip your hands and do this all different ways. do this after your wrists are wrapped. i hope this helps i am a gymnast and cheerleader and i do this before every practice. good luck
