Help with Couples Shower invites wording?

Question

My grandparents are throwing us a couples shower. I am not sure how to word the invites. I know that we would like it to be a bit more formal. And it's going to be called a celebration not a shower because we are having a destination wedding and only a small group will be attending. Can you guys help me out with wording?!

I like the 1st one the best. "In celebration of the upcoming wedding..." perfect, that is what you are doing after all.

I like the first one, for a somewhat casual celebration.

I don't ever think a "couples shower" is a good idea.  That is what the wedding is about.  Have your individual nights out and get together for the wedding.

Bride-elect is awful, don't use it.

The first one sounds nice.   But if I received that invitation I wouldn't know what it was for. Is it a shower or is it a celebration instead of a reception?  It could also sound like an engagement party.  I think it needs to sound more clear.
