Help with Daisy 4x15 scope on the Daisy model 840.?

Question

Every time I attach the scope to the "rail" I believe it is called. The scope is always off. So noticably off that if I look at the gun from the top it actually looks like it's pointing a little to the left, and when I remove the sight and reattach it, it's now pointing to the right. It's also always either too high or too low. The k***s on the right and top of the scope don't do anything when I use the s***w driver. Any help on ligning the scope with the gun?
