Help with Diablo 2 Boss: Duriel

I have a problem concerning the second boss in Diablo 2, Duriel. I am a paladin, I mostly have powerful auras and a good zeal. Duriel hits way too hard for me. He hits me about three times and I'm dead, potions don't work cause there too slow. I need help and tips on how to defeat him. Can you help me?

What difficulty is this? If you play on Battle.net, bring your friends over and kill it together. But if you try to solo, bring yourself lot of healing potions, rejuvination potions, thawing potions, and portal scrolls. Also, turn on Salvation or Resist Cold Aura during the fight so he hits you with less damage when he hits you with Cold Strike. Overall, bosses take great amount of patience if you try to solo.
