I have a really good eyeliner from avon, it glides on easy and is very dark (pencil) but no matter how good or expensive the eyeliner i use it never usually stays on for too long. I live in australia where it is pretty hot and im always busy running about, i dont have time to keep re applying it all day. Does anyone have any tips to help keep eyeliner on longer???

  1. depends where you apply it. in the eye itself above the lashes. or on the eye lid closest to the lashes.

pencils are good if you put a base powder underneath to help keep the line in place. otherwise the heat from you eye lid just makes it sink in the skin.

try putting some powder or natural colour eyeshadow underneath before applying.

  2. dont wear it.

  3. go to benefit.com and buy the make up sealer it works and im sure they ship to austraila or you could switch to liqud and that stuff never comes off

    :]

  4. Ok i can really help you on this one MAC Makeup has a liquid eyeliner that is practically bullet proof and will not come off what so ever. I bought the liner and tried to take it off with soap and water, store bought brand makeup removers, baby oil etc and it did not come off i had to go back to MAC Makeup and buy there makeup remover and it finally came off.

  5. liquid eyeliner.

  6. try water proof eyeliner

    works perfectly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. liquid eyeliner goes on smooth and dark too, and it lasts way longer than pencil. you should try loreal.

  8. errr, i've heard that pencil is the worst type for you. that no matter what, it smudges. if you must use eyeliner, i've read that putting a layer of eyeshadow (same color as the pencil liner) on top of the pencil will keep it in place for longer than the pencil liner alone.

i used to use pencil, but after my friend told me to use eyeshadow as eyeliner, i tried it, and haven't stopped. at first, i was sooo sure it wouldn't work, but it actually works really well. just use a really thin, almost pointy eyeliner brush, wet the tip, dip it in the eyeliner, and apply. it probably sounds complicated, but it's so easy!

i'm starting to get into gel liner, which is harder to put on, but it seems to work rather nicely, even on the lower eyelid. use the same brush, and use a little bit (almost nothing) of the gel liner, and blend like crazy. sorry that this was sooo long and i hope this helps. good luck! :)

  9. You can use waterproof eyeliner. L'oreal and Revlon waterproof eyeliners are the best.
