Help with FAFSA ONLINE!!!!?

i am having troubles with the fafsa online. anyways, if any one can help...please let me know. i have submittied an application online and it was processed and every thing but they are holding the funds because i am missing one of my parents signature. i tried to do it online but it keeps telling me "no match found on record" and i really need the money for school. help any one?

When you say you're getting the "no match found on record" error, does that happen when you try to access your FAFSA account, or only when you're trying to update your parent's signature?

If you're not even able to access your own account, that would suggest that there's a mismatch between the info you provided when you signed up, and the info that you're using to log into the account now.

Make sure that you are entering your name exactly as you provided it on the application - you'd be surprised how many students fill in the FAFSA with the name "Rosemary Johnson", but then return later and try to sign in as "Rose" or "Mary", or whatever nickname they usually prefer to their full legal name.

Also make sure that you are carefully typing in your PIN number - not the PIN numbers for your mom and dad (which they'll use to electronically sign the application).

If you still can't get this resolved, the absolute best thing you can do is call the FAFSA folks at 1-800-4-FINAID. They'll be able to access your account and figure out what's gone wrong.

You are required to have your parents signature electronically, they have their own PIN number. I would reapply for another PIN for your mom or your dad and have them sign your application electronically using the PIN they assign to you. Or just do it the old fashion way and print out the parent signature form and have your parent sign it and mail it in right away. It will take longer but at least you know it went through.
