Help with Firefox: How do you install Adobe Flash?

I just switched to Mozilla Firefox 3.0.1 Yahoo Edition yesterday, and I'm enjoying it. However, today I went to a site that needed a plug-in: Abode Flash. I followed all the instructions, and seem to have downloaded Flash, but I cannot get it to install. Help!

go to www.adobe.com and download the flash player to your computer. Just click to open the "install-flash-player dot exe" file and it will embed itself in your browser, Firefox 3 in your case.
