Help with Flies in the Sims Complete Collection!?

Question

I have flies in my house in the sims that seem to be hovering in the bathroom mostly but not exclusively. I have a maid and butler and have cleaned the house completely,even buying a new toilet and shower just in case but for some reason these flies are still hanging about.

Any reason why and how can I get rid of them?
