Help with Football Manager 2008 torrent?

Hi, i'm having trouble playing football manager 2008, i've downloaded a football manager torrent.I have mounted the .iso file, installed the game, replaced the crack (fm.exe), then i press the fm.exe then it says "Unable to find data folder!", then i click ok, then another one pops up saying the same thing, so i press ok again, then a message says "Failed to find a default database to use. Please make sure your installation is not corrupt." I press ok then the screen goes into a safe mode for a couple of seconds then pops back to normal and nothing happens. Can someone please help me?

you could of gotten a bad torrent or it could be just that it installed wrong... i would uninstall and install it again

another thing might be that it just did not download right...i remember getting a movie many years ago that was like 600 or 700 mb and when i tried to watch it it worked until about a hour or so into it where it messed up... i figured it had something to do with a power outage that had happened when i was transferring the data... i ended up downloading the same file over again and this time it worked

problem is i don't like the idea of downloading things over again so if installing it again does not work try looking for another torrent
