Help with Gaining weight?

what's the best way to gain weight? i am 5'7" and am pretty thin, not anorexic, and would like to gain weight. i have to do a lot of running everyday at football practice so i am not worried about gaining a lot of fat. i use a protein powder when i weight lift and eat whatever i can and still can't gain weight. Please help?

  4. DONT EAT JUNK FOOD

    Eat vegetables and many fruits

    Try fasting a couple of hours

    drink lots of water

    Do some push-ups,set-ups,pull-ups and use weights

    Im sure you will be as you wish in 3-4 weeks

I'm not sure how old you are, but if you're having football practice I would assume high school age.  I really don't think it's a good idea to use protein powder.  It can mess with your body especially when you're young.  Eat a lot of carbs and protein.  Also, bananas are great for weight GAIN.  Just eat healthy and take in many more calories than you're using at practice.
