Help with Guitar hero on PC?

I want to get guitar hero for my PC. I have windows vista, is that okay? Plus, where do i get the guitar from!?

The original Guitar Hero hasn't been released on PC, Guitar Hero III was though.

Whether or not you can play the game depends on more than your OS, go to this site:

Select Guitar Hero II from the list and it will tell you if you can play it. Most copies of the game already come with the guitar controller.
