Question:

Help with Honda Odyssey Entertainment system?

Hi everyone out there, I have just purchased an Imported 2004 Honda Odyssey that has an entertainment system that I'm battling with. It has a front LCD monitor that displays the following. GPS mode, DVD/TV/VCR mode, and CD/Sound Container mode. It also has a phone system that you can dial out from. The biggest problem is that most of the navigation is done using a joystick following the onscreen display which is in Japanese! When in GPS mode it displays maps of Japan & have been told it cannot be converted to NZ. The Disc insert plays only Region1 DVD's but no CD's, only displaying a title I can't read. The Sound Container mode I have worked out is a mode that allows the storage of music onto an internal hard drive, it has 90 discs already loaded but I do not know how to load discs on myself. The disc insert also accepts DVD Rom and has a PC Card input alongside it. It has a rear LCD screen with its own Disc input which only plays Region 1 discs and CD's. Any advice appreciated, Thanx

  1. Contact a local Honda service department. They may not have the answers, but should be able to provide a phone number for someone who does.
