Help with IKEA can opener

This is silly.... I pulled out the handle from the side, but i can't get it to "attach" to the top.

Help?

lol, try calling them..a number should be on the instruction manuel

Sometime it just takes tipping the can openeer at just the right angle. Just keep trying then you just have to remember the "sweet spot" for future uses.
